Following his studies in cinema, law and economics, Jean-François Bigot worked as assistant director on a number of fiction and documentary short films. In the early 2000s, he was one of the founders of l’Arrosoir à Emile, an association promoting animated films in Brittany. He also participated in developing several events, including Fantasmagories and Drive-in Canal B. In 2010, he was responsible for bringing the French national animated film festival to Bruz. Today, he teaches cinema and is associate producer at JPL Films.
