François Pachet is the Head of SONY Computer Science Laboratory Paris where he leads researches on music creativity. With a doctorate from l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) and engineer from des Ponts and Chaussées, he joined the Sony Computer Science Laboratory in 1997. His team contributed to numerous inventions and innovations in music technology. François Pachet is also a musician (guitar, composition) and he released 2 albums (jazz and pop) as a compositor and improviser.
