Dr. Shirine Benhenda has obtained her PhD from the “University Paris 7” and her research work was performed at the “Institut Pasteur” in Paris. She then pursued her academic career at the “Hopital Saint-Louis” in Paris. After a ten-year academic career, she decided to move towards new challenges by embracing Sophia Genetics as Business Development Manager in order to better understand the French Market in the clinical diagnostic field.
Today, Dr. Shirine Benhenda has become an Application Product Manager, involved in the development of genetic tests and new functionalities for Sophia DDM® – the most advanced analytical platform for clinical genomics – which helps physicians better and faster diagnose patients to assign them the best possible treatment.
